As the Church begins to engage more and more in the mental health movement, Christians find themselves looking for a reliable resource that grounds them in scripture and gives guidance for addressing mental and emotional health. As Christians, we know that we live in a fallen world that no longer functions in the perfection that God intended. The consequences of the Fall are visible in every facet of our humanity, including mental health. Jesus and Your Mental Health will use the links between God’s word and modern science to address common mental health issues.
The book is in the final editing phase and will be release Spring 2025!

Finding peace about mental health
Mental health struggles have often been misunderstood in Christian communities, leaving many individuals feeling isolated, ashamed, or even discouraged from seeking help. This book seeks to bridge the gap between faith and psychology, offering a biblically grounded and scientifically informed approach to mental well-being.
Through personal stories, scriptural insights, and psychological expertise, Jesus & Your Mental Health explores the realities of depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and other common struggles. This book is a primer, or guidebook, for Christians as they engage these issues in light of the mental health movement that has swept the country. Jesus & Your Mental Health highlights the importance of holistic healing - integrating faith, therapy, community, and self-care. Readers will find encouragement, practical guidance, and reassurance that seeking help is not a sign of weakness, but a step toward restoration.
Whether you or a loved one are facing mental health challenges, this book serves as a companion on the journey. God’s love and healing extend to every part of our being—heart, soul, mind, and strength—and the more we understand both scripture and mental health, the better we can care for ourselves and support those who are struggling.
